Superior Stay Put Filter Clip
Fits All E4OD and 4R100 Models 1989 to 2004
This is a Sold as pictured ( One Clip / Retainer / Bracket )
Keeps the filter from dropping / falling out of the front pump.
This issue is very very common and the only thing holding the filter in place ;
from the factory is the orange grommet seal on the neck of the filter.
It's verysimply not enough , and specifically if there's a pressure spike this will cause the filter to pop out.
Uncontrollable lock-up that kills the motor in reverse ?
Above is one of the most common symptoms when the filter starts to drop out of the pump.
The Superior Stay-put clip offers a solution to this problem by keeping the filter firmly in position.
Every Unit Should have one of these installed on it's next service.
