This Design is the molded rubber bonded to a steel reinforcement.
Considered re-useable, but they will deteriorate over time.
It is highly suggested to slightly coat these with a black RTV Silicone , but isn't required.
This version of gasket should be good for multiple pan removals before needing replacement again.
This gasket has fourteen (14) bolt holes and will retro fit numerous early model automatic transmissions.
To ensure a good seal this contains an inner and outer sealing bead ;
so when the pan is seated into place and tightened down no leaks will be present.
This is an Easy replacement with the transmission still in the truck.
