A518 Transmission Case Dipstick Boot Seal

May Be Called A Steel Core Tube Sealing Grommet

This Fits Nearly All Dodge / Jeep / Chrysler Rear Wheel Drive Models

Typical In 5.2L & 5.9L Engine Applications

Fits A-518 / 46RH / 46RE / 518 / 46-RH / 46-RE / 46 RH / 46 RE

This Product Seals the Dipstick to the Transmission Case.
It can typically be Replaced from the outside , but
does require removal of the dipstick tube itself.
This has a internal metal reinforcement to keep the seal tight and stiff.

Tech Tip

We suggest lightly coating this inside and outside with ATF before installing.
This will help it ease into place , and allow the dipstick tube to slide in without
crreating any bind-up or damage to the boot during the process.
