4L80E Low Reverse Billet Servo Piston

Fits 1997 and Up Models Will Retro Fit If Correct Servo Cover Is Installed

Snow Plows, Tow Trucks, RV Chassis, Stringer, 5th Wheel Etc..... ALL NEED THIS !

This will retro 1991 to 1996 models when the bumped cover design is used.

Overall, the 4L80E is a fairly Heavy-Duty Transmission but this is one of the primary weak points.

One of its lesser points is the cast aluminum reverse servo piston.
This weak link is prone to deteriorate while enduring the repetitive cycling that occurs in plow truck applications,
when the boost valve has worn or when the pressure spikes.

This is a direct replacement for the late model 4L80E Trucks.
It’s much stronger than the OEM casting by nature.
Adapt-A-Case engineers have made an effective leap forward in this design.

The factory unit is weak where it needs to be strong:
The area around the apply pin at the base of the piston.

This is much thicker than the original factory type which deals with the stresses of any side loading.
Additionally the thickness above the sealing ring groove is improved ;
which in turn helps to stabilize the piston in the bore.
