TH350 cases are no longer plentiful nor as cheap as they once were.  4L60E cases have many variations throughout the years.  Either application requires replacement when the case lugs are worn.   You can now save your case and improve on the original design!

A74761DAC fits like OE.  ter installing your 87-UP 4L60 roller clutch and inner race, align outer lugs and set into place.  Install the case snap ring.  Next, align outer lugs and set the retainer plate in.  Install and tighten six allen-head screws to 100-110 inch-pounds.

Our A74761DAC utilizes the wide 87-up roller clutch assembly providing more holding power than the early narrow TH350.

Used as a case saver or an upgrade, you’ve been introduced to the strongest-known center support ever available for these applications!

As cases for these have gone up in cost , and become more difficult to find this has quickly become a hot item.
This Saver is designed to run the 700R4 1987 up wide sprag , which has better holding power.


Tech Tip:
After Installing the inner sprag race align the outer lugs and set into place.
Install the case snap ring.
Then Align the outer Lugs and set the retainer plate into position.
Install and tighten the 6 allen head screws to 100 Inch lbs and you're done.

Will Fit One Piece And Removable Bell Housing Cases For  700R4, 4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E, And Most 4L70E's.
This helps to virtually eliminate slop and tighten the clearances and snug things into place.
Even if your case is good if you seek to almost completely eliminate vibration & extend the unit life this is for you.
We have the opinion this may actually reduce power lost with the end play set correctly and precise ;
we think this should actually improve fuel mileage however very Minor but worth mention.


Installing Tech Tip:
