This is a Brand New Oem Sprag Assembly
Fits All the below Automatic Transmissions:
A500 / 42RE / 44RE
A518 / 46RH / 46RE
A618 / 47RH / 47RE
48RE
This contains twin stacks rollers in a special polymer cage.
The output shaft on these models is the outer race for this sprag.
Inside of this is a lobed cam that functions as the inner race.
Often upon dis-assembly the sprag will look re-useable , but
what you can't visually see if the tension loss to the return springs.
Also the polymer will become brittle from the constant heat from the overdrive unit.
Additionally the rollers will deteriorate slightly from the contact over the cam lobes.
This is a Brand New Oem Sprag Assembly
There is some less expensive brands out there , but to save a couple dollars just isn't worth it.
This is one of those items you don't want to go with an offshore component.
These are shipped in the factory packaging.
On occasion during shipping some of the elements , and springs may move.
Even come out of the cage ; it is fine to reinsert them in as they are new.
