Stock Cast Iron High Capacity Friction Plate Hub
There's a wide group of reasons this hub is needed during a rebuild process.
The overdrive section itself can quite literally weld itself together during a loss of lubrication.
A common damage point for this hub is the grooves where the clutch teeth ride.
Over time the Clutch Teeth will Hammer the grooves and become damaged beyond repair.
It takes a great deal of heat to warp these , but it has been seen in some instances.
This is a Cascade premier reconditioned product.
