48RE Governor Pressure Solenoid Service Kit
Fits all 48RE Models 2003 Up

This is our custom designed package that includes all the possible items for this repair.

This is ideal to correct a no upshift problem, or what we call hunting for the shift.
This can be having to let off the gas to allow the upshift to occur.
It can also be the Rpms running very high and no upshift occurs.
All of these issues normally occur in 1st for 2nd, but may be present during other shifts.
Our packge will help fix these common problems nearly 99% of the time.
In severe model instances, or trucks with 150,000 or more miles we do suggest our larger kit see part # 22420CK.
On the higher mile trucks, we also strongly suggest one of our shift kits or shift correction kits.

Governor Pressure Solenoid - Heavy Duty Borg Warner Upgrade # 50185

Governor Pressure Sensor - Oem Mopar # 56041403AA

Output Speed Sensor with O-Ring Installed - Oem Reference # 4800879

Governor Solenoid Housing Base Gasket To Housing

3-4 Accumulator Spring .126" , Upgrade

Neoprene Rubber Pan Gasket (not cheap cork)
Internal Filter

This kit does contain the 6 cylinder and the 8 cylinder model pan gaskets.
Just so you have an "RE" transmission, and you have a 1998/1999 year truck this kit will fit.

** Watch The Video On Youtube About This Repair ** CASCADE YOU JUST SAVED MY LIFE!!!! Readers of this message should know: Cascade Trans Parts Knows Their Stuff !!! So I changed my solenoid and sensor then.....slipping in O.D. no codes WTF? hours of screwing around multiple calls with hours of technical conversations and speculations with 48re specialists........nothing then I'm kickin it in my pj s and youtube suggests this video which I only watch cause I'm bored and po'ed about my busted tranny!! pull the pan next morning and guess what? solenoid not snapped in properly wrong groove! Thanks You Saved My Ass Before Needing To Be Back At Work Monday am !!!!
