Great Company
Roger P. (O'Fallon , IL) 12/7/2014 10:17 PM
Hi - Just a quick Thank You for your fast shipping your excellent videos , and your returned emails. I installed the master kit in my 42RE , and it shifts like Brand New I can't believe it. In deed the 3-4 spring was broken , I was a little scared about doing the repair , but it was pretty basic with your videos , so anyone thinking about it and have common sense can do it. I took my time and had it done in about 3.5 hrs. You offer a Great Kit that has everything i needed except the fluid. What a Great Company you have a wish more online businesses helped the consumer as much as you folks do. WILL HAPPILY USE you again !

Great Kit !
Robert (West Haven , CT) 9/12/2012 7:57 AM
It was more work for me to land the parking rod into the back of the transmission with the parking rod attached to the valve body. I ended up removing the parking rod and inserting it first then brought the valve body up to the rod and connected it. Then I was able to put everything back together fine. I'm not sure why I had a terrible time, but the truck shifts perfectly... Thanks for the kit, your films made it easy , and saved us a bundle.

DIY Mechanic
Steve H. (Salem , OR) 7/29/2012 9:39 AM
I wanted to say thank you Robert for your help with my 42re transmission in my 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I no longer have the problems of not downshifting when I come to a stop after installing your Master Solenoid Service Kit. It has been a few weeks now and the transmission is still operating as it should. I did find the 3-4 spring in my trans was broken as expected and the pan magnet was in pieces but I found one to replace it. The install went well, I just took my time and kept everything as clean as possible. I installed the kit without pulling the valve body mostly without a hitch. I pulled the 3-4 accumulator housing and a very long spring coming out of the valve body hung up a little but it wasn't a big deal. I was worried still that switching to the newer style 4 wire harness would not be accepted by my computer but no codes or anything weird is going on, it just works like it should. This was my first time working on a transmission and your explanation of the process really helped me get through this project. I think you deserve credit for your excellent customer service! I will definitely recommend Cascade Transmission to anyone. Thanks again, Steve
